Some of you may had watched an 80's movie called
Working Girl with Harrison Ford and Melanie Griffith. One of the scenes that still makes me happy when I have the opportunity of see it again, is the one where Melanie's character explains inside a lift to her client, showing photos and newspapers articles, how she had the idea for a business deal.
Well, I'm saying this because, as you know by now, that's all about this page I have on LJ.
When I created it I wanted to share with people how the ideas for the drawings happen to me. And my mind always seems to be like a
kettle in ebullition! That's the reason of its name(including the allusion to one of my favorites movies):
Drawing a Dream-Eternal Sunshine of a Fully Mind.
If I had time enough to work all the ideas that come on my mind all day, I would have by now a thousand of works, and I'm not only talking about R&Hr, in spite of most of them are about this couple!
This drawing is about one of the most beautiful
R&Hr first time story I have ever read:
In the Orchard by
willow_wand placed after DH.
Willow, or Jenn, how her friends know her, contacted me some time ago, after I left her a comment, saying that she would like to commission me for a work about this fic.
I still don't get commissions because the
obvious reasons about my
references and also because I think people that would ask for them should share with me
my visions of the characters.
Maybe it wouldn't give me
this freedom I need, like someone that asked me another day:
"I wanted so much to have a work made by you
but you must draw Hermione looking like Anna Hatway lying on bed with Draco that should looks like..."
Wow, stop, stop, stop!! You really didn't
get the thing, did you, dear??
Or like an ex-LJ friend that asked me, after hadn't said a single word about a work that took me days to end:
"Could you please cut out your entries because I'm not a "reading person" more a visual one!"
Oops! Come on, how to react to this comment? Just watch the picture, you don't have to read the post if you don't want! Is it easier to say these words than to think in this solution? When could I think that I would find a "not reading person" on HP fandom when I enter in this "world"? :D
Well, coming back to the drawing, I said I would do the drawing for Jenn, first because she is one of the first writers to give me support here on LJ by the time we become friends and also she was the person that had addicted me, with her stories, to the image of
Ron, Hermione and his Chudley Cannons blanket, and if you had read this story or some others of her, you know what I´m talking about.
She asked me for a hot scene about it, and knowing how she is a fanactic fan of Rupert, I could understand her!! :D
As she also understood me when I said that, because the "same reason" (Rupert), this subject always must be (and it´s being a lot lately :D ) lightly touched on my drawings.
With this in mind, I started to think how to do it. And the idea didn’t come easy! :S
It only happened when after, re-reading the story for the hundred time, I, with my iPod on my hands, put on the search the words "Make love".
This
Snow Patrol’s song appeared and like a video-clip (and I wish I could make one with this idea) the image blowed up on my mind:
Ron and Hermione, only involved with his blanket, lying on the grass, in a "wind tunnel", like a delicate whirl of colors, fabric, leaves, flowers, skin, pleasure sights, circulating like the song's melody and rhythm, while their thoughts were only make love to each other forever! And here it is!
I really like the fact that it ends looking something like an illustration for an
Art Noveau poster, with all the
organics elements and bright colors! :D
I hope that Jenn and all the fans of this story like it
but... this was not the
only idea that happened to me for this fanfic involving a Snow Patrol's song and I'm already working on another drawing that you'll see next soon, with of course, the story behind it !
Yeah, no way for me, even needing a break, I´m definitely a fanart
holic!! :l
Make love to me forever,
Make love to me forever,
Make love to me forever,
It took half the time
I am still afraid
So stay by my side
And hold on to my hand
Try to teach me that
I'm alright I guess
But there's so much wrong
But there's so much right
I guess we'll agree
To differ on one thing
Make love to me forever,
Make love to me forever,
Make love to me forever.( A PASSAGE OF IN THE ORCHARD BY WILLOWWAND )
